I am obsessed with opals. I love them and feel like they are a magical crystal ball into a world of love, brilliance, abundance, and peace. Opals can express every color in the visible spectrum and throughout time, they have been considered to bring good luck (and hopefully fortune too!). To be honest, I rarely wear jewelry, but I have been on a mission for the past decade to find the perfect opal ring. I have searched antique stores from Syracuse to Amsterdam – nothing. I was kicked out of The Opal Museum of Sydney for saying that the opals were a joke, and the jewelry, trade level at best. Finally, I found the perfect opal. Sadly, it was already sold at auction.
